Jesus taught us that daily spending time in the Word of God is essential for the health and growth of a believer. Just as regularly eating meals is important for our physical health, regularly feeding on the Word of God is vital for our spiritual health. 

How to



S – Scripture: Open your Bible to today’s Scripture passage, following the daily Bible reading plan listed below. Read and re-read the passage, taking time to allow God

to speak to you. Write down the reference for today’s Scripture reading in your journal.

O – Observation: Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the truths of Scripture to you.

Record how God speaks to you through the verses you read.

A – Application: Allow God’s Word to make a difference in your life by applying Scripture to shape your thoughts, words, and actions. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you how the verses you read apply to your life right now. Record your applications.

P – Prayer: Spend time in personal worship through prayer, thanking God for speaking

to you and asking for the Holy Spirit’s empowerment to follow through with your applications.
